About The Author

Hair today, gone tomorrow-----rights shouldn't be that fragile.

Tanisha Pumphrey is a writer, speaker, and advocate for personal empowerment with over 20 years of experience in healthcare and mentoring. Her mission is to help others build confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of self.

A Milwaukee native and creative force, Tanisha is also a self-taught event stylist and fashion enthusiast. Her debut book, Hairassment, has inspired thousands to embrace their uniqueness and inner strength.

When she’s not writing or designing, Tanisha enjoys reading, family time, and snuggling her two beloved fur babies. Married at 22, she and her husband are proud parents of two amazing sons rooted in love and purpose.
